Hurricane Recovery Status (as of 7/16/2025)
Anna Maria Island is going strong!
It’s been a while but we wanted to give some updates for anyone wondering how things are going in our neck of the woods since hurricanes Helene and Milton came through last fall.
While there are pockets of recovery still in progress, overall, much of the Island is back to normal. We’ve had a very busy spring break and summer season that’s still in full swing. All of our calendars and availability are up to date so you can book your next trip to the Island with confidence.
We certainly realize what a blessing it is to have a large part of the Island recover so fast and are thrilled to be able to welcome guests back with open arms. We hope to see you all soon! (Or again? 😉)
Hurricane Recovery Status (as of 1/15/2025)
Apologies for the delayed update! It’s been a busy couple of months. 😅
Thankfully, our office on Pine Avenue is officially restored and we moved back several weeks ago. We also had a successful (though more quiet than usual) holiday here on the Island.
Progress continues on restoration efforts. Beaches are still open, even more businesses are up and running, and guests are returning.

Hurricane Recovery Status (as of 11/20/2024)
As you may have heard, Hurricanes Helene AND Milton impacted Anna Maria Island within a 2 week period, September/October 2024.
While our amazing Island community is still working on recovery efforts, we have made significant progress. Beaches have been reopened, many businesses are up and running, and guests are welcome.
As of this update, our own office is still under repair, but things are progressing well. In the meantime, we have a temporary office set up by the General Store on Pine Avenue.

Overcoming the challenges of the past couple of months has been an enormous undertaking, but we got through it and are ready to look forward. While these storms may have changed the Island a bit, there are always new discoveries and memories to be made.
