The Sato Family

Local, Experienced Anna Maria Island Real Estate Agents

Anna Maria Island is of course a picturesque island paradise. But it is also often referred to as a tropical Mayberry. We have a community of old time Floridians. It’s a place where life revolves around the community center, fire station, post office, elementary school and churches. The real estate agents and staff of Sato Real Estate are part of that community, and take pride in representing it.

Sato Real Estate is family owned and operated since 2006, with four generations blessed to call this paradise home. We say we are “Island Faces finding Island Places.” We work together to sell Anna Maria Island real estate in the Island way. This means we look out for you. We treat our clients as neighbors and show them respect and excellent service. Our real estate agents are focused on taking care of each and every customer, and this allows us to be the #1 firm. It is our deepest pleasure and joy to share our island with you.

With over 30 years experience selling real estate on Anna Maria Island, Barbara is an Island expert. She has watched the Island grow, and has evolved her practice to best serve her clients and community. Her passion and dedication to serving the island’s real estate needs is reflected in her customer service and accomplishments. Since beginning her career, Barbara has consistently been a top 10 realtor on the Island.

When opening the firm, Barbara wanted the Sato Real Estate office space to represent the Island community, and she found the perfect home for her team in the historic and purple-painted Roser Cottage. The cottage housed Anna Maria’s first real estate office, and she is proud to continue to serve those looking for their own piece of paradise in this location.

Barbara loves the Island community and what it offers for all life stages. She is part of a true island family, which spans four generations. Barbara loved raising her family on Anna Maria, where she found a supportive community and neighborhood traditions such as trick or treating down 75th street. She can often be spotted biking around the island, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends dining al fresco to enjoy the beautiful views and wonderful weather.

No matter if you are buying, selling or looking for a vacation rental, her honest and caring approach will make you feel right at home!

The island has been Jason Sato’s only home. He grew up attending kindergarten at Anna Maria Elementary School and playing little league at the Island Community Center. After graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Economics, Jason returned to the area to begin his real estate career 13 years ago. Now, Jason and his wife Lauren are raising their three kids to enjoy the Island lifestyle. They enjoy playing in the pool and family beach trips, where Jason teaches his children to build sandcastles and surf.

Jason loves helping his clients get the most value for their properties and helping them find the best space for their needs. His efforts have been distinguished in his awards as the AMISCRCA Realtor of the Year, as the #1 realtor in city of Anna Maria since 2014, and the past three years, he’s been the top single realtor in Manatee County.

When he’s not spending time with his family or working in the Sato offices, you could likely find him at a community meeting. After spending much of his youth at Community Center, he dedicates his time to their board meetings, charity events and plays on the intramural football league. He also participates in the AMI Vacation Property Association Board meetings.

Jason has a wealth of information on the area and would love to help you make the Island your home!

Josh grew up on Anna Maria Island and can’t imagine living anywhere else. He loves the relaxed pace and outdoor activities the area offers. He can often be found boating and is an avid fisherman and spear-fisherman. He also enjoys paddle-boarding and playing intramural sports at the Island Community Center.

After gaining a degree from Florida State University in Recreation and Leisure, he joined the family business to manage the Vacation Rental division. He relentlessly prepares all homes prior to guests’ arrival, ensuring they have a comfortable stay. He also services any needs that arise during guests’ vacations. He makes sure owners’ homes are properly cared for, and manages their investment properties effectively. In 2009, Josh obtained his real estate license. He also helps clients find their own permanent slice of paradise with patience and understanding of their needs.
